Project Princess is a non-profit organization in Austin, TX that provides cost-free dresses and accessories to local high school girls attending their Prom.

Project Princess is an Austin-based, student-run, non-profit Project Princess 501(c)3, where we collect donations of gently used prom dresses and accessories and give them to deserving high school students in the Austin area so they can go to prom without having to worry about these expenses. Founded by UT Austin’s spirit group ,Texas Lonestars, in 2001 Project Princess continues to be the heart of Lonestars!

At our annual Boutique Day event in the Spring, you will have the opportunity to be paired with a personal shopper and select a dress, pair of shoes, and accessories for your special night.

We raise money via seasonal events like the Project Princess Benefit Concert ,Lonestarpalooza, Rowing Dock, our sponsorship program, and we accept donations (such as dresses, shoes, and jewelry) throughout the year via donation drives.
